This notice explains how MeritPath Visa ("we", "us") handles information you give us through meritpathvisa.com.
What we collect
- Contact details you enter: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), LinkedIn URL (optional) and preferred language.
- Your assessment answers: goals, timeline, field, role, experience, citizenship, country of residence, U.S. status, achievements, U.S. plans and budget range.
- Technical data: approximate country from your connection, browser type, the page that referred you and campaign tags in the link you clicked.
We do not ask for passport, Social Security, alien registration or receipt numbers. Please do not enter them.
How we use it
- To produce your readiness summary and respond to your request for a case review.
- To contact you about your results by email, or by phone or WhatsApp if you gave a number.
- To send occasional educational emails, only if you ticked that box. Every email has an unsubscribe option.
- To improve the assessment and measure which campaigns work.
Who we share it with
- When you request a case review, we may share your file with the independent U.S.-licensed immigration attorneys and case-preparation platforms we work with, so they can evaluate your case. These partners may compensate us. This does not change your price.
- Service providers that host this site and deliver our email, under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep assessment records for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client or ask us to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, at any time by emailing hello@meritpathvisa.com. We reply within 30 days.
Security
Information is sent over an encrypted connection and stored with access limited to our team. No system is perfectly secure, so avoid sending documents through the assessment.
